Norway is characterized by its breathtaking nature. Glaciers, fjords and waterfalls alternate. In this holiday home you can immerse yourself directly and without any effort in the middle of this nature spectacle. Situated on the beautiful Hardangerfjord, this holiday home enjoys an exposed position with a fantastic view over the fjord and the mountains opposite.

The holiday home is built according to the Norwegian model and has a spacious living and dining area with a bright open kitchen. Here, according to your wishes, you can start off with a pleasant holiday experience and not least in the open kitchen freshly caught fish can be prepared together. The living area, furnished with Scandinavian furniture, spreads a very pleasant atmosphere. In the evening, the traditional Jøtul stove, with a crackling fire, will end one or the other day of your holiday.

Two bedrooms can accommodate 5 people. Here too, native pine / spruce dominates as a building material, which radiates cozy comfort from the outset. Bedroom 1 accommodates a double bed, bedroom 2 a bunk bed for three persons. The house is equipped with enough windows so that even on dull days the friendliness of the rooms is maintained. The spacious bathroom is located between the kitchen and the bedroom. Here you will find a cold / hot water shower cubicle, a washing area and a WC.

The holiday home itself is one of three identical houses and is located about 100 meters from the Hardangerfjord. In the midst of a natural site, which is covered with pine and birch trees, you are immersed in unspoiled nature. On sunny days, the trees provide you with relaxing shadows. Some raspberry bushes have their place here and form an excellent base for delights, desserts and pastries of all kinds with their fruits. From the large wooden terrace you can enjoy a magnificent view over the fjord.

In the summer, the terrace is an additional living space and at the same time a perfect place for a sunbathing and unrestricted barbecue.

A 20 hp motorboat belongs to the house and is at your disposal at any time. After all the beautiful views, a boat trip, a direct contact to the water, provides a fantastic experience. On the same level, with the passing of porpoises, jumping salmon, or swirling herring swarms, it is not every day. Matching life jackets of different sizes are available in the house.

Not far from the holiday house you will find the small Norwegian village of Ænes - the center of the town is the church, which is the smallest and oldest stone church in this commune (see "Activities" for more information). Not only anglers are very popular here, the starting point is up to the Ænes valley - there are pristine stains, berries & mushrooms, unique fishing spots and much more to be discovered. The fine rushing with you in the luggage you wander along the Ænes-Elva, the fishing-interested with its good stocks of salmon and sea trout lures. The fishing cards in the salmon river are cheap to buy.

In the opposite direction, you pass the tunnel, directly to one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the area. The Furebergfossen sprays its spray far away and will surely remain with you with its greatness also in vivid memory.

Well-marked hiking trails to the surrounding mountains and valleys complete your holiday in Norway. On adventurous paths, for example, you can reach the Glacier Gate of the Folgefonn Glacier. Gone by the glass-clear glacier lake - take a break right at the lake and let the immense vistas appear to you.

The closest city is Rosendal in about 15 km distance. Here, the harbor as a welcome greeting first attracts the guests. A tourist information provides you with all necessary information and current events. Nostalgic buildings and cafés invite you to linger. Supermarkets, sports shops, boutiques and restaurants are just as much a part of the town as the beautiful Baronie Rosendal - a small romantic 16th century castle.
