We have built these holiday cabins in Norway, Fjordhytte-1-3 according to the Norwegian tradition. Fjordhytte-3 was built on the model of so-called "Rundtømmer". A spacious living and dining area with integrated kitchen makes this holiday home something special. Centrally located, at the large table overlooking the huge window, enjoy a particularly beautiful and wide view of the Hardangerfjord and the passing ships. 

If you want, in the evening at the traditional Jøtul wood-burning stove, you can end the day with cozy, soothing warmth in the cozy holiday home.

The holiday home has two bedrooms for 5 persons. One bedroom has a double bed, the second bedroom has a bunk bed for three people. In the living room is a sofa, which can alternatively be used as a sofa bed. Domestic pine was used as building material in all rooms, creating a very pleasant atmosphere.

Large windows provide enough light so that the house is quite bright even on rainy days. The bathroom has a shower cabin, a hand basin and a toilet.

From the large wooden terrace in front of the house, you have a magnificent, wide view over about 30 kilometers of fjord landscape.

Two identical holiday cabins are located in the neighborhood. This object "Fjordhytte-3" is the top of the three houses.

The house is located about 100 meters from the Hardangerfjord. It stands on a nature plot, which is grown with native trees.

Not far away is the small village of Ænes. In the middle of the village is the church, which counts as the smallest and oldest stone church in this municipality. For more information, see our Activities menu. From Ænes you can directly reach the Ænes valley, which rises steeply right from the center of the town up the mountain. A hike or a fishing trip into the Ænestal is recommended, because you can spend a great day with many nature experiences here. Anglers can fish for salmon, sea trout or smaller brown trout in the river. If you do not want to go fishing, just go on an exciting hike along the original salmon river and enjoy the tranquility. Between Ænes and Sunndal lies the Furebergfossen, which can easily be reached by car or motorboat. The Furebergfossen is the most beautiful waterfall in the area.

In the mountains and valleys many hikes are possible, you can experience during a hiking day the original nature of Norway best. The tourist information has many tour suggestions and maps available for you. On narrow paths you can reach the Folgefonn Glacier from Sunndal or from Odda. In good weather, these hikes are highly recommended.

Rosendal, which is about 15 kilometers away, is the nearest town, with a sports boutique, supermarkets, restaurants, cafes and much more. A visit to the Barony in Rosendal completes your visit. The barony has a well-kept rose garden and a nice cafe and in addition a special restaurant in the self-grown vegetables and herbs are offered.

The environment of the Hardangerfjord in Hordaland convinces with an overwhelming nature. The Folgefonna Glacier, Folgefonna Nasjonalpark, deep fjords and roaring waterfalls are in the area to admire. In this holiday home you are in the midst of this original nature holiday. On the beautiful Hardangerfjord, our houses are located on the hillside with remarkable views of the wide fjord and numerous snow-capped mountain peaks.
