This holiday home on the Maurangerfjord is built entirely of wood and exudes warmth and cosiness as soon when you enter. The entrance area is spacious and open. From here, a door leads off into the first bedroom, which is furnished with a bunk bed and a single bed. The spacious open living room has a modern sofa and a wood stove. On cold days, this ensures comfortable temperatures. The large dining table invites even larger groups for a cozy get-together. A counter separates the kitchen from the living room, but allows a variety of communication while cooking.

A wide staircase leads to the first floor. Here are two tastefully furnished bedrooms, each with a double bed, a chest of drawers and a clothes rail. In the open gallery is the fifth sleeping place.
The loose planting between the houses with trees and bushes provides enough privacy to feel comfortable on the large terrace. In fine weather, enjoy al fresco dining with fjord and mountain views. Right next to the terrace is the boat dock where your motor boat is moored. Fishing is possible directly from the jetty or you can take a motorboat for a fishing trip.

Life jackets can be found in the annex at the back of the house. Here you can also store your fishing equipment or dry your wet clothes. Freezer and barbecue are also in this room.

The Maurangerfjord is a tributary of the magnificent Hardangerfjord. Here lies, nestled between mighty mountains and directly on the water your cozy Norwegian holiday home on the fjord. In the neighborhood you will find three more identical holiday homes. The nearest major cities are Rosendal, about 24 km away and Odda, about 14 km away. There you will find supermarkets, sports shops, restaurants and boutiques. Odda can be reached through the tunnel, which is free of charge.

In the vicinity there are attractions such as the Barony Rosendal a small romantic castle, the Ænes church, the Fureberg waterfall, the Kaiser Wilhelm Steig and much more. More information can be found in the house or in the tourist office in Rosendal at the harbour.
